That certainly didn't take too long, now did it? The WiiKey team has announced that they have completely bypassed all of the Wii U security built into the system.

It let's users very easily pirate just about any game that's released. This isn't a good thing for developers or publishers.

And the bulletproof hardware thing is merely claiming the quality of the product is good enough to be reliable and properly functional. Many modding solutions are copied in China with cheap substitutes, and even pretend to be the original product sold at a lower price. So they're claiming the product won't break itself by manufacturing it outside of China. The emphasis was more on "high quality" and less on "Bulletproof."

I see. Reading the article it seems like they just unlocked the Wii U itself, as a computer, not as a full unlocked pirate system.
