Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster Page Has Launched with new Screenshots

The website for the HD Remastered versions of Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2 has been launched by Square Enix. These visually updated versions are headed to the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita.

A reveal trailer is slated for March 25. Amazon's listing for the PS3 version has it priced at $39.99 and shipping out some time this year. Pricing and release date are subject to change.

Who asked for this?.... WHO ASKED FOR THIS?!... A vast majority asked for Final Fantasy 7, a small handful asked for Final Fantasy 6, and another small handful asked for Final Fantasy 9, so WHERE THE **** DID THIS COME FROM?! Does Square-Enix really have THAT much money to blow on a trolling project? Couldn't you just buy a troll mask from a dollar store or something and announce "no remakes on your favorite Final Fantasy franchises, but more Lightning and Yuna!" Or was it supposed to be a really expensive patch since playing FFX/X-2 didn't look as good through backwards compatibility? I don't understand! What kind of board of directors do they have?!

*I* LOST A FEW BRAINCELLS WHEN THEY FORMED SQUENIX! God they're such a tease when it comes to Final Fantasy! Thank goodness their other franchises are stronger (in the West) at this point. I wonder if the Japanese players are suffering as much as we are, or do they really have polar opposite interests?

I have been a FF fan since playing FF 3 on the snes. I never asked for a remake. I even have all my original copies of 7, 8, 9, 10, 10-2 and 12.
