Capcom is Giving Away a Free Game Every Day for the Rest of the Year

How awesome is this? Capcom, through their Capcom-Unity community portal, will be giving away a free Capcom game every weekday from today until the end of 2013.

It's fairly simple to enter into the drawing for these games. All you need to do is register at Capcom-Unity (it's free), earn some Unity Points, and then spend those points on raffle tickets. Unity Points are earned simply by leaving comments, writing their own blogs, posting in the forums, and sending in news tips.

Today's game raffle is Street Fighter X Tekken.

In related news, you can do all of that here at TGN too! Though we don't have any Capcom games to give out as prizes.

While I know the odds should be against it, I'm uncomfortable with the fact that "a Friday winner could win again on Monday," meaning people are eligible to win once per week and be able to win more than one game in the year-long draw. I had hoped they wouldn't allow repeat winners, though I understand the point is to have a "betting" game depending on the popularity of the prize (as we are not supposed to know how many people entered in the current draw). Still, I imagine the odds wouldn't change too much when 323 (assuming there's 324 days left in the year) unique winners are removed from the final draw, because the Capcom community should be huge and I doubt there are games that nobody would bet on.
