James Bond Games Pulled from Steam and Activision's Own Store

Be it an issue with licensing, an issue of poor performance, or something else entirely the fact remains that all James Bond titles have been pulled from digital retailers. First it was noticed that the listings on Steam were removed and then from Activision's own digital storefront.

The titles removed include games like Quantum of Solace, James Bond 007: Blood Stone, and the most recent one 007 Legends. 007 Legends receiving generally bad reviews and ultimately led to Eurocom shutting its doors.

Some question whether or not licensing is an issue here. Given that 007 Legends was just released in November it shouldn't be an issue, but anything is possible. Prior to Activision holding the license, EA owned the publishing rights.

Hmmm, that's a bit strange. I wonder what is going on?

It's going to be okay... It's going to be okay... I won't let them take you! It's going to be okay...

Can you still play the games if you bought them?

I think so. 007 Legends and Blood Stone both still show on my Steam list. Though they were there as part of the press account and I have some stuff on my list that was never released publicly on Steam, so take my particular scenario with a bit of salt.
