Activision, for some odd reason, decided that this footage from The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct was worthy enough to be shown publicly.

That certainly was a trailer for a video game. No doubt about that.

Strange, my reply disappeared. Guess I'll retype what I can remember.

Anyways, for the record this isn't a trailer. Somebody stitched together all the gameplay footage from Up At Noon With Greg Miller (IGN), so it was meant to be a first look at how the game is shaping up at an early stage of development, rather than as a promotional commercial.

However, by all means this game thus far looks horrifying, and I don't mean that in a good way. You can also blame Terminal Reality for contacting Mr. Miller to debut the game in such an unpresentable state. But don't expect this footage to be shown when an official trailer/commercial comes out, which itself won't be out for a while.
