Don't yet have Metro 2033? Well, you have a couple of options now to get the game for super cheap. Your first option is to pick up the current Humble THQ Bundle and pay what you want for a variety of games, including Metro 2033. There is just one day remaining for this particular Humble Bundle, so act fast! Your second option is to pay nothing, "Like" the following page on Facebook and get the game for free.

Simply head on over to this Facebook page, click on "Like" in the top right corner, and then you'll be given your code! Yes, it's really just that simple. The best part is that the code can be redeemed through Steam!

Huh... I thought you gave them away through Twitter by now (but never saw a newspost confirming that which is why I brought it up in the first place). Well in that case, you could remove the attachment link, and then combine them into a huge TGN giveaway to the quickest comment trigger finger. Or something like that.

I'm assuming by now someone has already claimed that code in the attachment and just couldn't be bothered to take time out of their busy life to post a reply here saying as such or giving a "thank you".

jimykx: They should have waited another day until the Humble sale was over with to do this, just in case there are people who want the Humble Bundle only for that game, now they won't spend any money on it, which isn't a good thing in THQ's case.

Well for what it's worth, we appreciate the constant giveaways from any opportunity you have possible. Because we know most of them aren't planned, but rather "there's an extra to give out, so share the wealth to the TGN community." Most wouldn't do that unless it's a marketing event or some sort of sponsorship involved. So thank you for offering at any random opportunity you run into.

Perhaps the next giveaway should be targeted towards anyone who mistakens you for a YouTube channel and blames you for it. I'm pretty sure a gift will be more effective in turning them around and spreading the word than a video link explaining what this TGN really is (40% of your Twitter posts crack me up since it takes them forever to catch on to your obvious hints).

As for the timing, I'm feeling rather ambivalent on this one. Financially speaking your suggestion makes sense, but then people would feel disappointed (like jimykx) after finding out they could have obtained the game for free. If they placed the Metro 2033 Facebook deal before the Humble Bundle, it would prevent any disappointment as people had a chance to see the "better deal" for those who just want Metro 2033. It's psychologically more satisfying at the cost of fewer donations to the Humble Bundle. And yet... There's the more important point of fewer donations to the Humble Bundle... The last thing THQ wants to see is another failure after this seemingly desperate move. There's more riding on the line than a typical indie bundle. I don't know, I don't like the feeling of missing a better opportunity, yet I don't like the thought of the Humble Bundle being less financially successful. I'm on the fence in terms of which is the better idea.
