Fox News, doing what they do best, has an article up today claiming that gamers playing Halo 4 will skip voting today. This article is insane. Fox News' research went so far as to find one PR guy for a site you probably never heard of and analysts that you also never heard of.
So wait, younger gamers won't vote because of Halo 4 or they will vote? Make up your damn mind.
Despite the attempt at the Fox News article to make the release date of Halo 4 seem like a huge conspiracy, Microsoft says that the release date was merely a happy coincidence. We all know already how much Microsoft has supported the right to vote, featuring live streams of the Presidential debates, interactive polls, pushes to get people to register to vote, and much more in these past months leading up to today.
343 Industries also has a friendly reminder to get people to vote that shows up when you start up Halo 4.

“There will always be that percentage who are too cool, too cynical, and too ignorant to be bothered. I would guess that's between 10 and 15 percent of the kids of voting age,” says Jon Peddie, a gaming analyst.
“The idiots who can't get a date and look at the women's breasts in the games will definitely find Halo 4 more interesting than something that requires thinking,” he said. But Peddie cautioned that most younger adults are likely to make the right choice.
"The majority of young adults, especially the ones voting for the first time, will go to the polls," Peddie told FoxNews.com.
