Rise of the Triad Remake Confirmed

Call it a rebirth. Call it a remake. Call it a return. However you choose to call it, Rise of the Triad has been confirmed today at QuakeCon courtesy of Apogee Software and Interceptor Entertainment. The original was a cult-classic, earning high praise from fans of the FPS genre.

Built on the Unreal Engine 3, Rise of the Triad will feature a full single-player campaign, a full multiplayer experience, and "so much more."

“We were seeking a strong, independent, hard-working development partner to herald the eagerly-anticipated return of ‘Rise of the Triad’,” said Terry Nagy, co-founder and Chief Creative Officer of Apogee. “We have indeed found that partner in Interceptor Entertainment.”
