Bungie Bids Farewell to Halo with an Infographic of Death

Yesterday marked Bungie's last day with anything Halo related. Along with their farewell to the franchise that made to be so incredibly popular, they released a lengthy infographic showing off just how much the game's multiplayer impacted many gamers' lives.

Thank you Bungie for the great games and great memories in Halo.

That's a rather daunting task to pull off for an April Fools joke. But this was deliberately posted a few minutes before April 1st on their local time, so I'm sure it's real (and isn't much of a joke for such a daunting task). Speaking of April Fools, WHERE IS MY WRESTLIN' NATION?! OH YEAH! Sigh... Was hoping for a new template drawn up in Paint behind the scenes during the year before today. Damn I can only dream.

No. Remember that 343 Industries is taking over on all things Halo. From Halo 4 to Halo Waypoint to everything else. Bungie is no longer a Microsoft exclusive developer and is branching out with multi-platform titles in the future.

Farewell Bungie making Halo games, I enjoyed every single one of those games and still do to this day. 343 Industries has big shoes to live up to and to meet Halo fans demands.
