I love Gearbox, one of the more loyal developers still around. Great job.

I remember this thing called Battlefield 3 that was supposed to be "designed for PC". I also remember how Modern Warfare 3's 'elite' service was going to be on PC too. PC's been left out in the cold with too many false promises to believe the words of a lyin' claptrap now. We'll see what happens when BL2 is actually released. 'Til then PC is gonna just cry in a corner. =P That said, I'm really excited about the BASIC FEATURES that are actually going to be in this PC 'port.' Borderlands 1 was more of a let down in these categories then BL2 is an 'improvement.' It's more of a return to the way things ought to be. That said, a complete pc-specific UI is pretty nice, and LAN support is sweetening the deal. The rest of those 'features' should be pretty much standard in a PC port.

So in other words, you're cautiously optimistic with the slow return of PC features that were supposed to be the standard before next generation consoles (well, current generation now) became the new standard, and piracy reached an all-time high? As for me, I'm wondering how DRM will interfere with the offline aspect of the game. Is this going to be one of those "offline after you connect online once?"
