Call of Duty Claims Top 3 Spots for Most Played Xbox 360 Titles of 2011

Xbox Live's Major Nelson revealed the top 20 games played on Xbox Live for all of 2011. In case you missed the headline, you will be surprised to find out that three separate Call of Duty titles claimed the top three positions on the charts. In fact, a total of five Call of Duty titles make an appearance on the list. Yes, that's one quarter of the entire list of "most played" being Call of Duty games.

It doesn't, AFAIK. These are just the most played Xbox 360 titles of 2011. As most 360 users are connected online one way or another, it just includes "Live" in there.

Remember COD1: United Offensive, now that was a real game! Now that the "modern warfare" series has completed and Dice already has rumors going around for 2143, how much you want to bet that COD goes futuristic and competes one on one with Dice's 2143? COD's gameplay is to A.D.D for me, but in today's society, with their attention spans i'm not surprised.

I have A.D.D. yet i dislike playing CoD for long hours, including BF, sure i clock in over 100+ hours but its in a span of a year or so. anyways i noticed something, people bought the game because its a brand, my friend bought MW3 all 4xcited and what not now he barley plays it says its a dissapointment. People bought the game because of the name. I still have CoD1 and CoD:UO in my library they were great games. Anyways i see BOps ranks first despite MW3, that makes sense.

It would either be called Call of Duty: Future Warfare or Call of Duty: Space Warfare, so take your pick. I was hoping for Call of Duty: Secret Warfare being the next installment though. (To those who want to correct me, I know I know... Companies reserve domains for the sake of hoarding rather than using them, but well... Since they got the name reserved, then if Battlefield: 2143 does exist...)

Nice. Seriously though, it'll be like Notch vs. Bethesda albeit a lot less one-sided (either judge agrees with expensive lawyers, or judge agrees protecting the word "Scrolls" is ****ing stupid, but it's one-sided either way) and somewhat less petty. Only somewhat though...

Added later: Hmm... Actually it could be more petty for a reason less related to legal matters and more related to competitive business matters.
