Half-Life 3 Shirt Seen on Valve Employee - Valve is Just Trolling Us Now

No, seriously. Valve is just trolling the hell out of the gaming world now. During a social meetup with various area developers, Uber Entertainment's Chandana Ekanayake snapped the following picture of the shirt one of the developers from Valve was wearing.

All I'm saying is I saw this at a local game developer event worn by a Valve employee. http://twitpic.com/7mxh6r #HalfLife3 #ValveTrolling

Really, Valve? Really? You're going to do this to everyone? First off, if this is true, I'd just like to do a little victory dance for calling it Half-Life 3 for over a couple of years now. Secondly, just show us the game! Announce it! Do something with it!

    GrraaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!

Looks photoshopped to me and not necessarily worn by a Valve employee.

It's verified real and worn by an employee from Valve. That's not really up for debate.

If this picture is real, and the purpose behind the picture is to troll, then it will definitely piss off a lot of people, including myself. This is not a joke, we've been waiting for so many years now.. it is really ridiculous..

              Wait between HL1 and HL2 = 7~ years
              Wait between HL2 and Ep1 = 2~ years
              Wait between Ep1 and Ep2 = 1~ year
              Wait between Ep2 and HL3 = 4+ years
              Wait between HL2 and HL3 = 7+

Now if the above t-shirt is true, it wouldn't suprise me if HL3 (if that is what it's to be called) is released next year, in keeping wih the 7~ year gap between HL1 and HL2. Note: The above periods are not wholly accurate.

There are rumors that an announcement will be coming "soon" and that HL3 is a PS3 and PC exclusive (through Steam).

I'm still skeptical... I would be more convinced if there was a fundamental change to the logo representing the sequel (while keeping the general theme familiar). This looks like a lazy representation of the sequel's logo. It's just a T-shirt, and I'm taking it as a joke. Would be strange for them to tease with a T-shirt before announcing it officially though. Possibly clever even.

Edit: God damn it! Really? An announcement? The Hell?
