Rockstar has released two new screenshots from Max Payne 3, the long awaited third entry in the popular series.

Max Payne 3 does not have a release date just yet. Hopefully, Rockstar Games will continue with a steady stream of great looking media.

lol, i loved the first and the second one but i do not think they are going to keep the same "noir" atmosphere for this game which sucks ballz

in the first shot you see a vapor trail for the bullet which looks a bit dumb tbh.

I'm glad they changed him back to the way he looked in the first 2m before they had him look like Bruce Willis!

I believe we're seeing the prologue where we get to find out why Max leaves New York and turns into Bruce Willis. I wouldn't say they changed him back.

What kind of question is this? They've been working on this game for a while now. How do you think there are screenshots for it, like the ones above... in the thread you replied to...?

Sorry for not beeing very explanatory, what i meant, was if they were going to focus on it. I know they have been working on if for some time but it seems to have been bit by bit and not fully-concentrated on that game. For example they announced that game like in 2009 or probably earlier right? and have made LA noir and Red Dead in the meanwhile. But Rockstar has multiple teams so probably thats it.

LA Noire was done by Team Bondi in Australia and Rockstar Leeds and published by Rockstar Games.
Red Dead Redemption was developed by Rockstar North and Rockstar San Diego and published by Rockstar Games.

Max Payne 3 is being developed by Rockstar Vancouver.

Different studios with different focuses.

Yeah seems to have lost some of the "noir" atmosphere but after seeking this http://www.mediafileshare.com/video/1061 I dont think I'm gonna be to disappointed!

I really wish they make a story that's more like the first Max Payne. Probably not going to be the same developer AFAIK, but there are some parts from Max Payne 1 that is still stuck in my brain. I played many many games thus far, but I can't remember them like this game. Thinking about the bloody walls in the dream, the satanic walls and floors of some bosses, and the bat and the chair. I haven't played the game in years and I still can remember and state this stuff. I want the third game to be like that.
