well i commend them for sticking with a formula that works (BF2) but ouch it just stinks of call of duty, counterstrike and TF2.....giant gaudy kill messages flashing over the screen. i just think that type of reward system promotes lone wolf style game play and not team oriented gameplay.

Did they replace MEC forces with Koreans? It looks like they've gone over the top politically correct with the OpFor soldiers.

I dont know if making OpFor Korean would be PC. I would think the opposite actually as OpFor was a coalition of Middle Eastern states whereas Koreans are Koreans in a specific region.

Some are saying they're suppose to be Russian forces, looking at the flag in the video anyway. They look so generic it looks like American forces killing American forces, Russians are okay for some reason, but you can't have middle eastern looking soldiers though.

Did they plaster ads in BF Heroes? I only played the beta for a very short time. I was surprised they didn't put billboards all over the place in Bad Company 2.

Since it free, ill try it out. I have BF2 so i'm not hyped about it. I didn't like that they said playing this will reward you in BF3 because that makes me think BF3 is like this... If this is coming out in Spring 2011, and you get rewards playing it then BF3 will be released prob more around Jan 2012. The graphics looked slightly better, you can definitely see that its BC style shooting and idk if it was their horrible aim but it would seem like you could take a lot of hits which makes me laugh since they said it was a more "serious shooter."

I did enjoy Battlefield heroes, it was fun... for a while. I stopped playing for a while, but when they made it that weapons were purchasable for cheaper than the ingame kill and objective points that killed the game for me. I hope that this doesnt come into P4F.

Although i understand everyones annoyances at this. Am i the only one who is actually happy and extremely looking forward to it?

BF2 was a great game and for years people have been asking for an "updated" version. Well you know what here it is, and better yet its free (for now).

I have wanted to go back to BF2 for ages but simply cant find the player base anymore but now i have that chance to, with upgraded visuals and weapons.

Honestly i cant wait.

I dont understand why people are complaining about a free, visually updated version of a game they love?
