my new one claims 2ms but it is pretty quick to come back from a screen saver:|:

It's the input lag not the response time that laggs the monitors. Which is around 10-20ms at the best TN monitors, better image quality panels go up to around 80ms.

Meh, for me, as long as there is an image on the screen and I can kill people without visible server/client lag, i'm happy.

I've never really been at a disadvantage due to input lag.

You need to play real competition on high levels to start understanding the difference of such things.

Yea, I gather. But the vast majority of people don't.

Apparently there is such a thing as keyboard lag as well. That made me laugh :p

turn off v-sync. that will help input lag big time.

It stalls the image to synchronize before it sends it to the monitor.

Looks like they did everything activision did wrong, a fantastic new game engine with DX11 support! DEDICATED SERVERS! Squad systems, friend systems, clan systems and support for specific PC hardware and more players than on console!

im pretty sure bf2 was august? when i joinned here,as i actually had a copy before release and was told not to go online with it

Demo was released in May, full game in early June.

current dx 11 cards (only ati's 3 cards) have 1gb or more of video ram.

in that article, they were talking about the future for them as a developer and imaging when each card would have a minimum of 2gbs of dedicated video memory

I was referring to the fact that the game would/will run with DX 9c... There are MANY DX9 cards out there that have only 256 or 512 MB on them.

Just like I wonder what will be the oldest CPU it will run on or how many Cores will it/can it use? (Hyper threading?)

It could also mean that you can have any amount of players (up to 32) playing on a larger sized map

Thats what I thought it meant Cause BF2 was up to 64.
