Ryan-IW: To ModernWarfare69 We get most of our ideas from real weapons being fielded right now from multiple military and other operating sources. We strive to make each weapon look and feel as they would in real life.

xxTex: Can explain how IW.net works for the PC platform?
Mackey-IW: PC has no common provider of matchmaking like on xbox360, so to have match making on the PC we had to create IW.Net, kind of similar to the match making networks created for RTS games on PC. This was not a trivial undertaking, although it's understandable that these days consumers may take match match making for granted.
LeachKing4: what new game modes will be introduced?
Ryan-IW: To LeachKing4 In MP, a new game mode we have is Demolition. I'd have to say its one of my personal favorites as one team's objective is to detonate two targets. It gets really heavy when one target is detonated and all the focus is shifted to one target, leading to all kinds of crazy moments you'd see in only in MW2
Mackey-IW: Currently the only classic map available in MW2 is Wasteland, which is based on the popular Call of Duty 1 map, Brecourt.
Mackey-IW: Which was one of my favorite CoD maps, personally.
Mackey-IW: MW2 supports games from 1v1 in Cagematch all the way up to 9v9 in the Ground War playlist.
Josh111: PC Question... What will the max amount of players per map be for PC multiplayer on IW.net
Vince-IW: 9v9
GeneralClean: With the new IW.net, how many players can it support at one time with each server set-up, 8 vs 8, 12 vs 12, 16 vs 16, and how much bandwidth are we talking about per player basis, Upload and Download?
Mackey-IW: The max number of players on all platforms are 1v1 through 9v9. This is the number of players we focused on when we were balancing map size, perks, classes, challenges, etc.Comment

Is iw.net laggy? Has it been tested in the sahara on dial-up while downloading 3gig files and running antivirus with less than 200 ping? Hope so, it'll need it.

Vince-IW: Sounds like are a very compassionate and giving person. I hope the people at the nursing home appreciate you.
Trac_Vantro: Is Iw.net going to help keep clans together the way we are use to playing together as clans now.

Mackey-IW: Our main focus right now is on making sure the game will work well when it is released (on all platforms).
Ryan-IW: With balancing weapons, we strive to make sure each weapon recoils close to how it would in the real world. A good amount of us here at IW go shoot regularly and have hours of range time. The recoil we have in game is reflective to that of real steel firearms.

Vince-IW: We feel the PC game is great in it's current form. We put a lot of work into IWnet in an effort to make the PC experience better for our users. If there is a need for somthing more in the future we will address as needed.Comment

Mackey-IW: Our goal is to provide the best experience for our users, so nothing is ever "off the table". We are always evaluating our options.

Ryan-IW: If you're familiar with our sniper mechanics, then you'll be familiar with MW2's. We've refined our COD4 engine for MW2.
IW_has_failedus: Why did you make the game soo much easier for noobs by putting in death streaks and pro marty/jugger. Now people can't be good at the game because they will always be killed by the noobs with triple jugger or w.e. You guys have to go back to your roots. I realize that all you guys are after is money, but come on. What about the true fans.
Vince-IW: Just do me a favor and play the game first, we put a LOT of work into balance. We are big gamers here at IW and want a great experience just as much as you.
Mackey-IW: Also in response to IW_has_failedus, death streaks don't kick in until you've died several times, so you're not going to be tearing up the leaderboard with deathstreaks. They're just a great way to get out of a cold snap.
zach426: Will you create any multiplayer playlists for competitive play? ( I.E.. no perks, killstreaks, attachments etc.)
Ryan-IW: You'll be able to customize MP gametypes through Private Match.

JunkyNL: I like many others, have friends from all over the world and like to play games against each other. So with this new system we wont be able to play lag free against each other? And is there still a (Offline) LAN function?(there is no internet at that location) (the 402 site doesn't answers this question)
Vince-IW: You can party up with your friends and you will be placed in a game that works well for everyone.
gdogg: On the PC version is there going to be Hardcore Free for all?
Mackey-IW: Currently there are hardcore TDM and SD playlists, however as you witnessed with CoD4:MW, the playlists may change from time to time.
GunnZero: i play on all gaming machines, if it allows me to game, im on it. But will PC have Mod tools?
