There are some things the tidy up before final like the inability to play Special Forces.
The release is more likely a matter of weeks away (2-3 weeks at a rough guess).

Hello , this is The 2 man dev team responsible for the BF2 1.50 patch... well we're sorry for misleading you time after time after time but we really are going to release the patch sometime this week.... truly rooly we are , you believe me don't you ?

I know we've been telling you "its this week" for like 6 months now , but we really mean it this time... honest injun ! :devilflame:

So we're sooo sorry for getting your expectations up quite a few times and then doing a disappearing act on you all... but that's the way we roll here , the more people that whine about it , is only going to make us delay the release a little longer , depending on how many loyal BF2 fans whine about it...

I do hope they get this final patch out ASAP, so the mod devs can get started on making their mods 1.5 compliant.

I hope old 1.41 Battlerecorder footage works with 1.5. It'd be nice to start capturing the footage in widescreen for 1080P.
