While I like the fact that DICE is finally fixing the game, I think it comes little way to freaking late. This should have been produced 2 years ago. The fact that they left the game with exploits like shooting though rocks on Road to Jallaaal " I cant remember the name anymore", to the Jets dominating the battle field leaving no chance for AA to even kill them. The fact that you couldn’t blow up claymores any more or even be an engineer to disable them showed the lack of commitment to game making. The only way I would buy BF3 is if they guaranty to fix valid game play disadvantages and exploits. With this and the fact that it would give me a reason to build a new system would do it for me.

The most important fix bf2 needed was the hitboxes. Great job DICE here. This i doubt could have been fixed 2 years ago. I am going by the release of Cod4 here, when games started to have good hitboxes. However I maybe wrong here.

Also without dolphin dive, then all you have is prone crouch and stand. Say your against a person who prones, how do you counter that? You can only prone.

Then if we say that this person who proned first is a support, so has a huge advantage over all other classes (apart from sniper maybe). Then what would be the point in trying to fight a support who prones.

Dolphin dive mixes it up a bit and gives variety and more potential.

Also you say the elite people win again. The people who complained about prone at first all voted on the website. And either many changed their mind or everyone else who voted did not like the idea.

Ph1l, make sure you have installed 1.41 first.

Duh, ofc. I've installed 1.41. Have had that since that patch got released. I just really don't wanna make an reinstall to install 1.50 beta 2 .. Cause of a crappy "bug" :/

This patch fricked up all my control settings. I have to reset to default settings and re-map every time I start the game. It always forces settings to that garbage called Falcon, as if thats all I have connected. Any ideas how to fix this without a complete re-install?
