The Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Debut Trailer

As promised, the first trailer for Battlefield: Bad Company 2 was revealed tonight.

As far as "teaser trailers" go, this is about as teaser filled as you can possibly get. Feel free to share your thoughts on the teaser and what you expect to see from Bad Company 2 when it's released.

Seriously though, this raises more questions than it gives answers, but I think it just might be the mighty return of the online awesomeness that we have come to love and cherish through the years, all delivered by the dark entity that is EA

In terms of what I expected this is a fail. I did however enjoy it to bad the blood wont be in the game.

Very very interesting. Perhaps there's more to this then we think.

Specializing in online warfare since 1942........ Wow.

Definatly more intense and hardcore than Bc1, should be interesting.

This teaser is certainly more tailored to the hardcore Bf2 fans.

I like the artistic style though, it was like CoD:WW's sp intros. Granted, we don't have an actual grasp of the game, but cool nonetheless.

Helluva lot better than the lame Modern Warfare 2 "teaser", I'll say that much.

EDIT: I am a CoD fan, and I am looking forward to MW2. Don't hurt me.

That was indeed a "teaser", but I too found it interesting. Last I think I read, the game isn't due out until at least early 2010, so I guess it's not overly surprising that we didn't see any in-game footage...yet (let's remember, marketing likes to generate hype and interest over time, and there will be more trailers and vids to come).

It seems they're moving away from the comedy of BC1, and into something more gritty and focused more strictly on combat/war. If so, I like that direction.

This should get people talking, at the very least.

I think the video has messages hidden in it, What I mean is it shows 4 tanks, 3 helios and another vehicle..............could be aimed more at hinting towards larger player count and going back to PC battlefield roots maybe?

I am not sure about that, they said this winter or Q4 of this year. And also they have gameplay they showed it at GDC for press, should come out Monday when the embargo is lifted. And also at DICE about 6 days ago at a press event. And at E3 there will be playable multiplayer. http://bf.gamersverse.com/?p=227 is a GameSpot video interview that they released to early, explains some cool things.

sure lots'o'blood on the vid, i hope they make the game a little more bloody, i never liked shooting people and see dust coming from inside them.
