It's quite different than the first Skate demo. Less events to do, but I'm guessing it shows the new stuff (get off board, move stuff, hippy).

Yeah, i bet that it was the whole idea with that demo...

One thing what i didn't like was the walking. I mean, it's a awesome idea, but when it's really a pain in the a$$, then you could say that there is something wrong with it. And i do hope that it's been fixed/tweaked in the whole game...

Aye, the walking could do with some work or at least patch the game... since you can't walk and turn very well... and maybe do some work on the create-a-skater since you can't really spin the skater around and see how the hair looks from the back... but at least both features are in the game... I would have still got Skate 2 had they not been in the game...

I prolly wouldn't have bought this game on the release day if the running/create-a-skater/other features weren't in the game, but i would have definitely bought it later...

Managed to have a good play through last night, was fun. It just didn't seem to blow me away like the demo of the original skate did, I might just pick up the original as I never took the plunge and got it, not to mention the price will probably have dropped quite a lot.

My mate got Skate 2 this morning so I've been playing it for a few hours... Skate 2 picks up a few years after Skate 1 ended... it seems there is more of 'story' in Skate 1 then in Skate 2... although we only did a few things, we spent most of the time jumping off the Lengdel Tower? (or however it's spelt) getting the hall of meat challengers done...

Skate 2 is deffinetly worth buying... I feel like they may have some good DLC plans for Skate 2 (since they have it as a menu option in the start screen)

Of course I do

It's good... lots more moves... lots of things to do... haven't played much multiplayer yet but it had a lot of options, ranked/unranked, spot battles, freeskate areas in MP etc. etc.

It's worth the purchase - although the multiplayer (using controllers - you know the normal 'old school' multiplayer with mates in your room) is still 'one player' - skaters have to take turns to 'own a spot' or whatever... there is no freeskate for 2 players which sucks since it'd be so much fun to freeskate with your brother or a mate using the same PS3 with a splitscreen...

Im enjoying it too...

Loads of new stuff to do and new tricks... But the downside is that the walking is bit messed up still, but it does it's job. Moving objects can be bit pain in the a$$ on some occasions. But other than that, it's been really good game(except for the S.K.A.T.E competition with 2 pro's at once this time. And A.I is waaaaay to good at it. Meaning they almost never bail).

Hall Of Meat is great addition too. Few nights ago when i was playing, i didn't even realize that i had been jumping from the "San Valeona" sign for about 4 hours... And during that time i made like 6 million dollars...
