Skate 2 Demo on the Way

EA's Black Box Studios may be releasing their new Skate 2 later this month (January 21 NA), but you can get a taste of the game a little early thanks to a Xbox 360 and PS3 Demo. The demo will contain many new features from the game including character customization and online multiplayer.

The demo will be available for download on the PSN on January 15th and Xbox Live on January 8th.

I played the demo of the first Skate way back when and found using the thumb sticks a big challenge compared to the tony hawk style games, but I will give this one a try too.

It was challenging but it was a much needed breath of fresh air into the genre. Much needed, like needed more than a nose job for Michael Jackson.

Skate 1 was awesome, can't wait for Skate 2... the thumb controls took a bit to get used to at first, but once you figure it out you realise how easy it is, and how much more stuff you can do with the thumbs, rather then Tony Hawk's style...

well they are not releasing the demo on PSN until next week. But the 360 demo is out now.

Skate 2 Demo... out on PSN - it's win!

Been waiting for Skate 2 since well, since Skate 1 came out :lol: :p

The demo is pretty sweet, you can get off your board now, run up stairs, hippy jump while on the board (you just jump up while moving, it's useful if there is a rail infront of you, board can go under while you jump over it), create your own skater - male and female, your shirts/jeans - they get rips and dirt if you bail! and they don't just magically go back to perfect white when you respawn on a marker, they stay dirty...

The game is a big improvement from Skate 1, if you haven't played either game yet, then grab the demo on PSN now... Skate 2 is out next week :)

I played the demo on Thursday when it came to EU store. And i gotta say that it's pretty amazing..

So Skate 2 is definitely on my buy list along with KillZone 2 and some other games...
