looks like US vs China that everyone has been been wanting.

However what we have done is taken a look at the handling of the J10 and made a few tweaks with the turning ability of the J10 which should bring the two planes into a more balanced state. We want as many people as possible in the open beta of 1.50 to try this out and let us know what they think.

I always wanted MEC vs China The map looks good though even if the screenshots looks like they were taken on a Nvidia 6 series rig.

I'd say that map looks pretty cool, dunno wth Rhino's on about.
Although I reckon it'll be the same as Karkand where MEC has an advantage of terrain at the start of the match, looks like on this new map the US gonna be easy pickins as they ship/swim across that open water while the chiniese are sittin there laughin 'n' shootin.

Still I reckon it'll be a nice change from Karky for once and could be alotta fun

I reckon the map might be bigger in 64 version, looks like other spawn locations from the overview screenshot.

Where is Battlefield 3 ???

At this point, I wouldn't expect anything at all until at least Q2 of 2010. It's not to say that they haven't been developing BF3, but with how pushed back Heroes has been, I highly doubt they even have the resources working on BF3 right now. IMO, Heroes was a mistake from the beginning and will just eventually lead to BF3 being delayed at least a year.

Heroes was supposed to be available early summer 2008, it's almost 2009 and there's still not even an open beta, let alone an actual release. They've said that the 1.50 Open Beta BF2 patch will be out before christmas, I highly, highly, highly doubt that happens. As it stands, they have 1 week left to release the 1.50 patch according to their plans:

Not complaining about anything, just pointing out the obvious IMO :salute:
