I don't blame EA for this sort of censorship. After all, some lawsuit-prone lawyers and lazy parents who are persuaded by those damn lawyers may cause big damage to EA in the court. Believe it or not, even porn studio can get sued for indecency.

well....i'm all for being against censorship...but in order for us to not have to censor crap like this, maybe the problem falls back on our parents who should have taught us that being entertained at sexual images isn't morale....the strive to perfection usually starts at home....i'll step down from my soapbox now

that or maybe business needs to realize that they're at least getting a feel for their market....i guess the spore community will be filed with 15 - 35 year old males who have internal sexual issues next thing you know though and we'll start seeing in game ads for shrinks and psychologists....gaming as a form of psychoanalysis.....

haha even in the pcgamer preview of the creature creator one of the writers made a penis he entitled it the "freudian nightmare" LOL

IMO some of the penis characters are funny and quite innocents but others, such as a vagina one i was so unfortunate to stumble upon, are just obscene and pretty sick minded

imo a good idea would be to have seperate databases for people to submit creations to, a sort of age rating on your spore creations :P

Censorship is ****ing bull ****ing ****, every ****ing **** sucker who enforces this god damn censorship should have their mother ****ing **** cut off and forced to eat ****ing dog ****.

Now was any of that really necessary? of course not and neither is putting pornography into a game. All this talk about people expressing themselves is stupid, sure you have the freedom to do so over the internet but not at the cost of others. Just because someone is uncomfortable with those body parts walking around does not mean they are just to close minded and if you read the article it involves more then just looking at them.



Now do we really need to see that? Just because some people are comfortable with it does not mean everyone has to be. Some people are perfectly comfortable with bestiality does that make you close minded if you would rather not see a man having sex with a dog?

These people can still make their "Art" on their own computers but they really do not need to go broadcasting it to an internet audience who may be under 18. Having special sites to download the material off of is ok but they do not need to be in the custom content areas of the official spore site or floating around youtube.

The creatures are not just static. Users can create animated scenarios for the characters to engage in, some of which include sexually graphic acts.

Censorship is everywhere you shouldn't be saying your against it since this forum is censored too, I can't ****ing say **** here because when it's inappropriate it gets converted to a bunch of asterisk symbols. So **** ****ing **** fack lol. I think it is the webmasters choice weather or not censor his website, you have the freedom to post your videos, at the same time it's up to the moderators to make sure the content is appropriate for all ages.

Who knew that when you give the ability to basically create anything, that there are going to be people who create dong monsters..

That being said, I have seen some amazing spore creature creator things -among them, the Beauties from Metal Gear Solid 4.
