as well as fixes for Choppers takeing two tank rounds to kill! Thats so not realistic! I mean we got 120/125mm tank rounds and you can't shoot down a frikken Chopper? Thats lame.

BF2 is not realistic, hence why a guy can with stand 3 shots to the head without dieing in BF2 :p

If you want realism you should play PR :p

LOL I do but I Hope at least BF:2 gets full WS support as that would mean all my games support my new WS monitor and I would play them all. BF:2s PR mod would be even cooler.

Well even if it is an ad filled map, at least it show that they acknowledge the games existence.

Besides, unless they break something, extra content doesn't hurt.

Widescreen with just a command line is still not a true widescreen. The only way to get it is to use a widescreen fixer program that tries to support a true widescreen

at the end of the day it works off the same engine as BF2, but providing you join a server which is not under strain, good fps and a ping under 120 you should be fine, i hardly have any problems in hitting my target.

Command line does nothing for widescreen because you have to incorporate a field of view modifier which only a patch can fix.

No, hitbox detection in PR is the same across the board for all mods. PR like many other mods reduce deviation which increases lead on target....which makes it feel more accurate. they probably also increase damage modifiers as well.

But we can probably expect this:

G36E will get nerfed to hell and even then some.
F35 will now be invinsible against missiles and J10 will be just the opposite
Every chopter will get nerfed even further
Probably a new map with loads of ads on it
Since Mg36 sucked so much before it will probably be the new G36E...

I cant say that i have high expectationg for this patch
