Does anyone know if the 1.6 patch includes the winter crash map? I know it includes all the fixes since 1.5, it says that in the readme.

Well, I just installed it and if I went by the install screen, that map is NOT there.

And Yea, Im looking forward to the TV station as well.

There's already a couple hundred 1.6 servers up and running, so no fear for those who are dying to play but waiting for more servers to show up. By tonite, I'd expect many more too.

This full patch didn't patch like the others... it wouldn't find the directory where the game is sitting not installed on my server. See I had to upload the whole 5 gigs of crap to get it to run at the beginning. So at this point I've reinstalled the game on my gaming rig, patched up and now uploaded everything once again.

really drives me nuts that they didn't come out with dedicated server files. :shakehead:

The incremental patch may have worked but thats a day off so either you do the extra work and gain with traffic on the server or you wait and fail.. pretty sad choice here.

As the patch was installing, I'm fairly sure I saw the "mp_crash_snow.ff" file being transferred, so I would guess that it is included along with all of the past fixes.

The incremental patch may have worked but thats a day off

Edit: Yep that took are of it.. cept I had already uploaded everything again

Anyways I've got two servers setup in Chicago running updated 1.6 ...first server is all new maps only.. and other server is 24/7 Killhouse since it looks like a bunch of fun and even more so than shipment!

Server #1 - Rotation of all new maps.


Server #2 - 24/7 Killhouse Map!

downloaded it from Gamearena (aussie server hoster) and i got a 2.5 mb/s =D

I like the hardcore filter but the new maps are only good for scrims they are really small type console maps like the others.. that is the only thing I hate about this game.. they have no PC maps just a bunch of small maps they pretty much made this game for console players on the PC and ported it to them.. still really sucks on console tho.. but I have a feeling IW will not even release cod4 on PC I mean look what Battlefeild is doing they are making it console only untill Battlefield 3.. I just console suck *** everything about it... but more kids on console that need a new game every month cuz they get so bored, i guess that is where the money is.. all i know is I will stop gaming befor I would even think about crossing over to the gay side.. but who knows maby they will come out with a PC map pack, all they had to do was make the maps that came out 3x bigger and it would have been perfect.. but console only allows 8 player playlist 16 and i thinka 24..

Hey I downloaded the patch from TGF and Im having errors about the map files being corrupt. Is anyone having the same problem?

Im going to redownload the patch from Gamearena and see if that works.

I got the patch from TGF yesterday with no issues.
