I want BF3 pretty badly but in the mean time i will play Frontline Fuel of War. I have known about if for probably 8 months and finally can play a beta. :)

The only thing i'm worried about is that they may rush it in order to compete with FFOW... that's the only thing.

I'd love to see BF3 provided it is done right. There is no way that could have happened since 2142 and their other endeavors. I'd love to be wrong.

We've known that Bad Company has been in the works for awhile now and it features DICE's new game engine FrostBite. IMO, this is the next installment in the BF franchise and that is what this retailer will be selling in Feb.

FFoW comes out at the same time and it would be suicide to release two titles which feature much of the same type of game play. The market would be split and they wouldn't get a large player base to start with which is very important -- especially with the way EA DICE licenses game servers.

EDIT: I don't 'need' to be right here... please prove me wrong! =)

although FFOW has many of the fun good qualities from the BF series its not BF3 and certainty its not battlefield killer, it will be its own game. also i assume bf3 will use an Upgraded Version of the frost engine and seeing just from beta in ffow how destructible environment works i can see huge potential for new tactics and game play style in general.

I'll stick with Frontlines, I wont say anything bad about BF because I said enough about it before I left for basic.
