I'm also dealing with the fact EA and Crytek didn't send out dedicated server files for Crysis. However, I did call them and they signed me up as a trusted server provider so not sure how that will fan over.

Update: well I finished uploading the whole 6gigs of crap to the server and yep once again the Directx error. I have no idea what to do now as this patch has screwed something up and there is no support to fix anything.
Uninstall, return your copy, do not visit this forum section again. All you have done is ridicule the game, mock it, insult IW for not supporting it (which they do), and be an arse. You even said you'd return the game. I guess it's IW's fault for you not knowing how to run a server.

Who the hell are you? I fixed the issue no thanks to the support or should I say lack of support from IW.. yes I really mean that since the patches they release are not released with some sort of Do's and Don'ts... nor do they answer any questions when you call them on the phone or visit their official forums. They have a chance to do better but IMO they have dropped the ball on the lack of Dedicated server files and added support vs them trying to fix a lean bug.

You'd rather have server files, which haven't changed so much since the original Call of Duty and would be easy to find, than them fixing the game play?

          Lazy SOB.

Server files are really important to the community..sure fixing issues with the game are priority but if its that damn important then they should have held the game back till next year instead of pushing it out now for holiday sales.

So how is that being lazy when you have people such as me that wish to use their own money, hardware and time to run a server for players such as yourself?

You need to relax some and go study for your school work tomorrow.
