I think the start of bf2 is a prefect example, it looked great, urban combat and so on with lots of cool features utilizing the engines features, but no... we got a dumbed-down bug-riddled piece of ****.

Seriously, they haven't said ANYTHING to the BF2 community in many many months, why would they actually bother to download the mods to see whether they included any "forbidden" vehicles?
I knew Elxx would have something to say TELL IT TO THEM!!:yay::yay:

Hmm...is someone developing a BF2 mod with all of BF2142's content? That would be funny as hell since a lot more people would play it then.

Also, are they doing this because BF2 Pirates included the SF booster grappling hook?

                        Re: Modding Rules Clarification

Ugh. BF3 "leaked". EA up in arms about mod policies? Play dumb and pretend you'd never read the "email" or information. Reason? You stopped bothering going to their website.

Keep at it modders. I think I may get into modding if only out of spite now. Come find me EA, it'll be a publicity stunt for all of us. Win-win situation.

                        PEACE

Glad to see EA's dedication to the modding community remains as strong as ever.

Nothing to see here .. move along ..

Funny thing is that Bf42 was a great succes partly because of mods
I know a lot of players who have not played vanilla but only get the game to play
DC, FH and other great mods

I had vanilla covered with dust for over a year until I heard about PR... mods are the only thing keeping their games alive.
