Forgotten Hope 2 Mod Update

There is a new update posted today over at the Forgotten Hope 2 mod website. Here's what they had to say:

Hello and welcome back to another update of Forgotten Hope 2. Some introducing words before the update - the Forgotten Hope Developer Team is always looking for talented, dedicated personell in all areas of modding. At the moment we are especially interested in people able to do rigging, UVW unwrapping, vegetation modeling and sourcing and engineering sounds. Points of contact can be found on our stafflist.

But let us jump back into the year 1942. The map we want to put on display today is Mersa Matruh made by Lobo. Mersa Matruh was the last obstacle eastwards before El Alamein for Rommel's troops, right after his Afrika Korps had recaptured Gazala and overwhelmed Tobruk only days before. The Wehrmacht captured 32.000 prisoners, 2.000 tons of fuel, 5.000 tons of food and 2.000 vehicles on the 21st of June. Read more...

FH2 might take over my dcon time when its released, lol.

This work is about par with all your work, PERFECT.

Being given this game for free, and getting to watch it develop, I am really excited.

Very nice, very detailed. i can just imagine the armored & infantry battles that are going to unfold.

(is there going to be a map where the British aren't going to get slaughtered by the Jerries? j/k )

wow that map looks beautiful. i really hope there will be massive tank battles with inf. and AT guns going off all over the place (love my 88 ). i also hope the environment produced for air battles will be like AA lighting up the sky and planes going crazy to avoid the crazy german vierling <----beast
lol the anticipation is like a, well you people that are old enough know.....and when you get to that point, lets say "peak" its like BAM! sorry if you dont udnerstand what im referring too....

Maybe they will pull a Duke Nukem Forever and start all over with the BF: Bad Company game.
