Dl'ed the mod, played it, got very frustrated and left. Tried it again after a couple of weeks, stuck with it, addicted. The modders put the love into this project that should have gone into BF2. The maps are fantastic and the realism is refreshing. When an idiot gets in game and refuses to play on the team, they don't last long. Getting zapped constantly with no warning does that to them. BF2 attracted the worst sort of players. PR attracts the best sort. Our clan just put it on our server and we're trying to get it populated for low ping US play.

Personally I love this mod. At least give it a try and as was stated before, accept that there is a learning curve and enjoy it. You WILL NOT be disappointed if good teamplay and fun is what you're after. Point whores need not apply.

hehe i first played PR back in 0.2, and when i first played it, I also thought it was a piace of crap hehe, then i was convinced by some clan m8s to give it a try with them, so I went on, played as a team with them and fell in love with it

then from there I made a map for it, joined the team etc hehe. There is a big learning curve to the mod and you just have to get to grips with it and as soon as you have done that, you get hoocked

I've been playing recently, and am really enjoying it as well. I agree with the reviewer in that there are definetly some more-seasoned participants with a low view of us lowley noobs, and punish and ban even for honest mistakes. Recently I was playing with a SL that was running ahead like a fool and not communicating, and choose to punish when he ran across my line of fire, (even when I apologized almost immediately).

Anyway, rant over. I enjoy this mod, and the gameplay it offers.

Ok cool that was pretty fun too but has fallen off of the map.
