What are all the different game modes? I dont see anywhere on the site where it explains what they are. Air War is obvious air wars :p But wtf is day 3?

well thanks, thats some effort :)

now it is a beta, and basically we did want to just give the public something to get around in, see the mod take shape, much like the days of the desertcombat 'alpha' versions. if anyone can remember what the f16 looked like back then... well.

still i do suppose the release may have been a bit overhyped for a beta, but for this process to be effective we do have to get people in the door. also our PR department gets pretty bored, we had to give em something to do

the next releases will be more polished obviously, and won't be far off if everyone with a criticism can go through the appropriate processes to have it noted and improved upon.

btw about the 'sega genesis tank' though i have no idea what the **** you are talking about, sega genesis was damn cool so quit ya hating dude.:p

I also got a couple of CTDs but hey doesn't that happen to all the mods?
So are you guys planning on patching this soon?

I dont know how to say this but, its not a very good mod.

Everything is twitchy, its near impossible to land the osprey. Half of the weapons in air vehicles dont work. ALL the animations are off.

I don't get this community, We give you a free beta, ask you to please test it give us some feedback kinda get involved in the development and help us shape the mod to suit, and this is the thxs we get..

At the end of teh day your going to be the guys who play this game.
We thought it would be nice for you lot to actually do something different and get involved..*how many other mods have got there project to a certain level of completion and then said right guys thxs for all the support here a taste of things to come, take a look and lets work on this together ?*

Comments like "omg this mod sucks im unistalling it from my HD and then burning my HD in disgust"...DOnt help us and they dont help you tell us why it sucks and were fix it...Thats the whole point of this beta we no alot of things are still broke and need work..

Would you guys rather we kept everything behind close doors for another few months until the whole team was 100% happy with what we had and then maybe wed give it you ?

It seems you really cant win with this community, we try and get you involved and this is the thxs we get...cheers guy you really make all those many hours of sacrifice worth while.

Well I guess I was right huh guys? I said the screenshots looked pretty bad and judging from the complaints so far in this thread I was right in saying RC looked to be a huge disappointment. Havok, how's your foot taste now?

Ok, I think I finally have something to say in reguards to this mod that will hopefully smooth over the negative reactions to its "beta' release.
Think of these mods as a fireworks display everyone is invited "for free" to come and witness it and yes someone did pay a high price to produce it (thanks devs) and put it all together but sometimes after the fireworks the crowd says "thats it?" and I think thats what some people (me included) are trying to say. After thinking about it I hope the Devs take it as a compliment, those of us that are "mildly shocked" had very high expectations from the RC team because we do respect them so much. Im sure this mod is going to rock in the future, but the condition of the beta was simply not what some of us probably expected ( I personally thought it would be farther along, but that is my misunderstanding) thats not to say there are some things I don't absolutely love, but you guys keep on keeping on and thanks for all the hardwork so far. When I get a chance to sink into this a bit more I will hit up your "ticket" system with some imput. Until then see you on the battlefield.....

                          Thxs for explaining yourself..

As for the fireworks, think of it this way, We still have some off the more spectacular and bigger ones hidden in the box were just not brave enough to let them off yet. There either just not stable enough or not near a level of completion were all happy with..
At the moment those fireworks are just for us to enjoy and play with..

Theres quite a few concepts, ideas and toys that are not in the public beta.
Thou i cant really say more than that..

I hope you enjoy the encore :p

Congrats on the release guys, a lot of hard work went into it which I don't think most people understand. Hopefully I can load up tonight and join you guys for some brutal firefights.

I dont agree with you in slightest, especially your total lack of respect for people really keeping the mod scene going. The RC team fits that explanation pretty well bro. I had a few CTDs, but nothing as bad as my first install of the great and mighty POE2.

I would have to clean all the brown gunk off of it first, or whatever that substance is that stuck to my toes when I rammed it up your ***.

The mod is definately heading in the right direction. Its mostly just little things that can make or break a persons final thoughts on it. For instance many of the reload animations are off which just looks bad in the end result. I am fully aware of how much work goes into mod making as I once was into making CS maps and even that was a pain in the ***. If it was me making a mod I wouldnt release it until I was satisfied with every aspect in the game. Stop trying to please fans by releasing unfinished products, because as you can see it only comes back as criticism.
