That hasnt actually happened, but it could :p

To the RC team: Great work guys, always nice to see a new mod come out.

To all the cry baby ****tards: Some of you need to go back and look at some of the mods for BF42, Do you not remember when DC first came out? It was just soldier’s skins and nothing else. Mods take time and with BF2 it is a lot harder to mod than it was in BF42 why do you think it is taking so long for mods to come out?

Be happy you’re getting anything at all!

These mod guys from all the teams are making BF2 what it should have been and are doing it for free. Find problems with the mod POST them, but don’t be an asshat ****tard and bash people for doing something you can’t.

RC keep up the good work!

            Re: Rising Conflicts v0.0913 Released

            I completely agree
That's the problem with forums now.
People come on here to ***** at every litte error. If life worked that in today's society nobody would have a job because people aren't perfect.
I can't mod WELL, but I do MOD, and for the basic stuff I do, it is VERY time consuming, skinning and coding, and I give A LOT of respect to the RC team AND all other mod teams out there for their time and effort.
This goes for the 2142 beta also, people expected a complete game. Beta is different from demo which is different from full version.
I've yet to play this mod, I will when I get home from school. However, going through the screens, news, etc. I feel that with the lack (not *lack*) of publicity COMPARED to mods like FH and POE, it did an amazing job.
I know from other programming tasks that debugging etc. is a pain in the ***, and you gave us this for us to play test it, so we wouldn't be waiting like we are for some other mods (FH).
Would you rather play an unpolished (to some extent) game FOR FREE, than wait looking at screens your whole day for an upcoming mod?
OF COURSE! I would much rather playtest a mod while the community is still strong and allow it time to improve, rather than wait for a mod for long time.
So please, be respectful, so many times I come and I look at your replies, posts, and even your number of posts. If you are an active member, act like one and be mature, if you aren't, don't come on and have all your posts be "sucks".
            That is all.

            Great job RC team.

I am very excited about this mod and think it has a lot to offer. Yes, there are some things that need work, but unlike DICE, they are asking you for your opinions, and then will work on the bugs and stuff with us all. Can you at least give them some respect for offering a mod for free, and then wanting your feedback to make it better? Or is that to hard for you?

I think you guys did an awesome job on most things. The F-16 in this mod flies better than any other F-16 out there by far! The A-10 is great also.

I can go on and on about what I like and don't like, but I will do it in there domain were they asked for it to be done.

Hype? I will say if I could mod anything even remotely close to what these guys and other do, I would be damn proud of it also. Like people say time and again....lets see you put your mod where your mouth is!!!

Anyways RC - good job on a first release!
well said m8.......I also am sick of people dishing mods......if you can do it better then do so or stfu!!

Ironic isn't it? That's where RC originated.

3 years ago I was bitching at DC for some bad coding. People said the same comment you posted above. So I went out and did exactly that. I founded DCX which then served as a recruiting engine where Salty Dogs and Rising Conflicts came from.

So you see, that one comment from a DC player 3 years ago started the whole thing.

The biggest Irony? I quit SDP several months ago, and didn't contribute any pieces of code to RC at all.

ok i'd like to put in some tickets but i'm not sure where thats happening so a link would be nice.

infy is awsome I love it the guns are powerful accurate and the ground units are well equiped.

vehicles are cool in themeselves but cmon guys it should be more than one rocket, I like the changes to rockets but I think the damage should be reverted.

It would be nice if osprey speed could be bumbed up in airplane mode.

See, thats the same thing that got me into coding.
Why waste time bitching that can be spent resolving the problem at hand?

Whinners, complainers, and crap talkers that troll around the MOD scene but dont contribute out of laziness or total lack of skill.

If you completely ignore them, they have no fuel. Dont even respond to them, block them, and never notice thier meaningless words again.

Great job RC team, I am enjoying this mod and will help with your ticket system in any way that I can.

Don't act as if the complaints aren't without merit! The ones that I read here all had a point to them. Complaints, criticism, whatever you want to call it...this is an open forum. HELL, the mod teams should be OPEN to these coments. Don't take that **** too personally.

Yea, it's a beta. Ok, so are the rest of the mods for BF2. If some people don't like them as much as the others should they just close their mouths? It's more constructive to post their reasons. MAYBE the creators will have an insight as to what the game's fans want and it will align with their own ideas.

No game will ever cater to everyone's desires.
It's certain no mod would be a success without players either.

Personally I hated the first release of PRMM (sorry guys!). But now I think it's the best mod out yet.

It went from "I'll never play that again" to "why don't other mods have that?" in one or two more releases.

Mods have a funny way of doing that.

Bingo. Hence the beta to see what lines of experimentation are worth further pursuit, and what to drop either alltogeather, or just make low prioirity. We've all got notions on what makes a decent game, and could likely be cranking out different ways of looking at the same thing untill BF50. Doesn't mater if its a developer or public notion though. They can all be as good or bad _in practice_ as anyone elses. and the only way to see that, is seeing what happens when it's released into the wild.

We look at all suggestions, so post away. Thank you for the help!

To everybody else, we really do appreciate the support we are getting. Yes we realize this is not perfect. If it was perfect we would probably catch all sorts of flack for not releasing it earlier. Lol

Please feel free to post to the ticket system i linked to above. Also join up at our forums and post away. Like I have said in other posts we are open to discussion on pretty much anything in the mod. Gameplay is our top priority. You have an idea to make it better? Post it! We will listen.
