Pig Latin, nice one Lex. If I ever want to try for a real developer spot, I shall brush up on my igpay atinlay.

Yes, you are free to own with the apache.

And I sure hope you don't ruin the Hind as POE did when they decided that it should not retract its gears. Hind is an Ugly beast if it doesn't get those gears up. Period.

          And I can't wait for ur T-tanks!!!
I would like to point out that Point of Existence uses the Mi24PN, it does not retract its gears.

            DConflict team:

Just make sure you adhere to one simple principal: Make the mod fun and by that I mean do not cave in to being anal about what is realistic and what isn't. If something isn't realistic but is a ****load of fun to play then keep the fun factor for it and ignore the inevitable whining. DC succeeded because it had multidimensional gameplay that was fun. The choppers had a fairly steep learning curve but once you mastered them, the power they afforded made it all the worthwhile and increased the fun factor by 10. Also be sure your weapons have much much better accuracy than the ones in BF2 and by that I mean reduce the spread by a lot and make it to where we can actually hit a distant target without having to zoom in and allow us to be able to strafe + fire at someone without having all the bullets spread across various directions without actually hitting the target--it doesn't need to be a UT/Quake clone but one thing that really lacks in BF2 and all the mods so far is that the weapon spread is insanely high. Just look at POE 2, you can't hit the broad side of a barn unless you're zoomed in 99% of the time, that just sucks.

So in conclusion, please make sure your mod is fun. :)

5150 eyeglasses, and skill are apparently things you lacked while playing poe2.
I truly hope that DCon lives up to the hype you and everyone here gives it.
But if not, then you and a lot of people here have already set themselves up for a big dissapointment.

Personally, I can't wait to have DCon going along side Pirates2, FH2 and PoE2.

As told before, not all stuff can make it in this first release, but like in the Desert Combat mod, every other release will get better and better with more good stuff like the org made from scratch!!

Totally understandable but just make sure you have at least 3-4 varied maps and try to get in an urban map if possible because most BF2 players these days are urban map junkies. As long as it has El Alamein + the hind/apache I'll be happy :)

DV, I usually scored in the top 5 on almost any server I played (I use the alias n00dlez when I played POE2) so I doubt skill was a problem. So that only leaves one thing: The weapon accuracy actually is crappy like I mentioned and scoring points using guns in that mod depends solely on ones ability to be able to zoom in and nail targets consistently.

Your concept of fun is kindergarden style, no ofence. There is nothing bad in more acurate shots in ironsight mode. It decreases the pest of bunnyhoppers, spray'n'prayers and other jolly species.

So you have found a new way to be rude to this team DV, thats great. I guess being a straight out A-Hole has been replaced with passive agressive sarcasm.

Live up to the Hype? I dont think I would say that "everyone" has hyped up this game.

Just release your game when its ready team, and pay no attention to the bull.

im looking forward to dcon, and to throw it out there, a lot of people here are silently hoping for this mod to become the dc of bf2. It is being hyped, I personally don't care if it is or not. I played dc for about a month and moved on.

Well, there intention is to recreate a DC style game, and follow in its footsteps as much as they can. All the guys making it seem to be old dc players, and want everyone to have those maps and vehicles on this engine. I love them for that, and I hope its as fun to play as it looks like it will be

If people are silently hoping that this is a new dc style fun party, then how can you say it is being hyped? Just curious, silent and hyped dont really go together.

If I get my SCUD, my Frogfoot, and the Shika on some Gazala, and my CAR15 on some Lost Village, then my void will be filled.

not to rain on your parade but since dcon was announced, players have been expecting this to be dc2 (I'm going back before you joined these forums). Like I said this mod is being hyped...but you make it sound like it's a bad thing =\ If the mod simply lives up to it. then who cares right? Again like I said I personally don't care if it's hyped up or not. If its fun I'll play it, if not then I won't be disappointed, I'll simply move on.
