Yeah, after playing it. What happened to the huge improvement 1.4b gave? I used to be able to play lag free 64 oman on the 1.4b, and i can barely play 64 sharqi on this patch. SF is still the same, infact i think it's worse. All I wanted was optimization so that i could play the mods without a problem. That wasn't even delivered, when it was in the beta. Dissapointing. The prone-crouch delay, again, makes things even easier for snipers. Becuase they are the only people where guns are accurate no matter what position you are.
IO mode, it was horrible when i played it. A real nightmare. The fact that i can't even play the mods becuase the performance issue hasn't been fixed is well annoying...Comment

I don't know what I'm expecting.. I mean, they won't ever change my "problem" THEY created with goddamn MD5 hash taking 5 minutes to search my computer for cheats.
Just... **** EA and DICE.. call me a whiner, but I payed for the game which worked fine until they f*cked everything up.Comment

Who cares! the rank doesn't mean anything! the only reason why I play on ranked servers is because they're usually running on better connections with powerful CPU's and memory, not someones cable modem connection on a system they threw together.Originally posted by Shooty McStabbyface

Didn't have any problem with 1.4b Beta. Downloaded 1.4 over lunch from EA Downloader, full patch, took about 15 minutes. Installed. Attempted to start game, CTD. Hmmm.
I'll reinstall tonight when I get home from work and see if something didn't go right the first time.Comment

It appears that CTD is the new "name-glitch" (i.e., the problem gets worse with every patch and never seems to go away despite contrary claims from the coders).
The fix log claims to have solved all the game’s CTD issues, but after installing 1.4, I can no longer play single-player without having a CTD as soon as I click the "start game" button. I have no clue how regular multiplayer is working right now since my internet connection is running super slow as a result of a local power-outage last night. I hope for EA/DICE’s sake that this is not just another case of the incremental patch being FUBAR in comparison to the full patch.Comment
