I have one thing to say......

Class action law suit.

Everyone knows the reasons why, could you imagine if every BF2 player got together and filed a class action against EA?

Yeah I know it wouldn't happen but just think if it did.....

Wow... it's now the 24th and still no patch. I refuse to buy any more EA porducts untill I can play Battlefield 2 with no crashes.

I'm not buying bf2142 thats for sure!

It has also been reported over at Battlefield2.nl that the patch will only be delayed for 24 hours.

The wait wouldn't be so bad but with such a huge problem with server crashes in 1.3 it is soooooo frustrating.

if 1.3 is so bad why dont the servers go back to the patch before 1.3 seems to be the logical step to me and wait for 1.4 to be finished :laugh:

They can't, in the roe the ranked servers have to use the most up to date version.

This 1.4 patch/ BF2142 veterans crap; it all seems like a bad dream. Its as if the BF2 community was stuck in some weird soap opera. The drama of the delays, the new features. An abortion occured and delayed the child that is 1.4. ohh noo, an affair took place, a child born with one parent, called it bf2142.

So yeah....what happened to the patch? All this BF2142 info, beta, etc....and 1.4 goes out the window. :hmm:

At least we go the veterans program.

I see, there is a lesson to be learned here boys and girls. EA is giving us the basic knowledge on how a global company should be ran:

- Never pay attention to customers
- Never meet deadlines
- No customer service
- Manufacture buggy products
- Fix one thing and get five more problems

...and still make billions of dollars off the same customers they are screwing.

The 1.4 beta patch is working great for me with the exception of a few dodgy servers.

It is definitely going to be released, with out a doubt on or before the time that the patch is going to be available for download within the time of the next new moon on or before the equinox or in between the time it takes for a train to leave chicago and arrive at new york on the morning of the next tuesday or the first month of the second lunar eclipse.

Give or take a day or two.

I just changed a value in the file and the patch displayed in the downloader...but it points to an invalid url. So don't bother looking into it.

There are already copies floating about the internet hosted on various servers. A little research into threads and forum postings will reveal the story.

This whole pre-patch 1.4 story is like sour milk, stinking up the game worse by the hour.
