I want to give POE another try, I did not like the first one at all. I consioder it one of the more overhyped MODs comming, considering thier models and graphics dont really look any better than most of the smaller teams work.
If it changes gamesplay alot, than that will be worth it. If tis just a different theatre, a new mode or two, and lots of spit and polish, then blah.
If you have never worked on game development or done this level of coding, than you wouldnt understand probably. This stuff can be so much more tricky than people realize. Its not just simple math, where there is a definite answer to every problem.
Thats what testing is for, and delays and set backs are inevitable.
How long did it take HL2 to drop? It turned out to be the best game I ever palyed. Not to defend the delay too much, but I totaly understand.
All this whining from people because of a 24h delay. Let Dice/EA do their work and get it released, instead of crying like little girls about the delay. And you people wonder why DICE/EA has poor contact with the community :P *me thinks it has something to do with the community of whiners*
I'd rather have a delayed great patch, then an "on schedule" 1.3 patch.
