Mabye Battlefield 3: Moon assault can come witha built in finger print machine that detirmines age, sex (yes please) and the players raw mental fortitude. And gives the player and option to turn blood on if they so choose?

I want BF2 to be like Saving Private Ryan. You get blown to bits by arty. Chunks of flesh flying around when you get shot. I just think that it adds more realism.

I heard about this great new mod called Iraq. You can sign up for FREE at the local recruiting center, and be shipped off in a couple months.

It's totally awesome and they have TONS of blood. You should totally do it.

i must admit, i do miss the blood, and gib a little bit, but i dont think it impacts my gaming experience in any way, blood/guts is quite irrelevent....

perhaps if they did have blood and gib, it could be rated M, and we would have less immature smacktarded idjits playing....and the game would be slightly more enjoyable

I do not want blood. Or gore. Or anything else like that. I do not like seeing people being blown to bits. Ya'll have issues.

I think part of the visceral appeal of CS is the copious amounts of blood. Headshots wouldn't be nearly as satisfying if their heads didn't explode with blood and splatter it all over the walls.

Personally, I'd like there to be a bit of blood. But not because I think it looks cool or satisfies a perverse fetish with bloodshed.

Rather, if I'm sniping at somebody from a long distance and they have their back to the wall and I hit them, blood will spatter on the wall. This visual indicator helps me see that I indeed hit them. Add in a small blood trail that I can follow and the gore feature adds yet another useful facet to the game. Hunt or be hunted.

I'm not looking for body parts flying off when hit by tank shells, but I would like it to look like I'm actually incurring damage with my shots.

They could make it like SOF where the player gets to choose the level of gore. Sure, it'd be rated "M", but that didn't stop all the 12 year olds from playing HL2 and CS, now did it?

I'd rather have a red puff in a WAR GAME instead of this almost invisible hit indicator flash. I don't need whole lakes of blood, but a bit of blood in a computer game cannot hurt anyone.

I believe that they should have the option to turn on/off the blood.
those that want it should be able to turn it on, the others with the weaker stomach or other "ethical" reasons should be allowed to turn it off.

This game should not be played by people under 14 anyways. And I dont think that a little blood puff, and some streaks on the wall indicating a previous battle really spoil a kid's psyche. I'm not stating that an over consumption of video games would not screw up a person's personality especially if the person is at younger age.

I find it a bit ignorant if people judge others just because they want to have some blood in a computer game. In the end we are playing war. Whether you like it or not we are virtually killing somebody, and trust me pulling a trigger in real rifle, and hitting a target is not much harder to do then in a PC game.
The simulators that people use in many armies are not very different to the game we all love so much - Battlefield 2.
So really, imo people who have such a great ethical problem with blood should maybe consider not playing war games. Nor should they go for fighting games. Try civilian flight simulator, car races or solitaire

It is also my opinion that it is not very good for a kid to be playing computer games be it a first person shooter, a race game or something else.
Kids should be playing outside with their friends, have fun and explore the real world. It is sad to see so many young fellas sit in darkened rooms, spending half their childhood infront of a screen. But that's a different topic...

I'm not sure that it would be Battlefield if the game had tons of blood. Having people get blown to pieces and their limbs getting torn off by fast-moving vehicles would make the game less fun, in my opinion. To me, BF2 is a pretty goofy game and having tons of blood and guts would ruin it.

I totally agree. No need to say we don't need any sick gore. But a small red puff indicating if you hit the target wouldn't hurt at all imo.
