I came to think of it, wouldn't it be nice to have more voices than just one in the mod? *hint*

Ya I'd personally like to have Chris Rock saying:

Enemy Sniper= Yo ass is gonna get sniped.
Enemy Armor= **** yo they rolling in TANKS
Enemy Troops= Damn they packin'
Enemy Plane= Oh hell no, they got Jets too?
Etc.

Shokran gazillan AK. If EA is going to put in actual Arabic / Chinese voices they should at least get the dang translation 100% correct.

Don't even get me started on the L-A-M-E EU English voice accents they had the nerve to put into Euro Forces. I can't wait to see the voice accents they use in Armored Fury. Can you imagine a good Jersey Boy like myself saying, "Fuggetaboutit buddy, your good ta go" or How ya doin, ya need some friggin ammo?"

Well am not too suprised about the mistakes that happened. Though am still pleased with EA actually putting in and trying having authentic voice overs... am glad it's not just english speakers doing chinese and arabic accents but the actual language being spoken. Because frankly you know if it was made by EA proper they'd prolly go down that root and have MEC speakers go "sharmota amerika attack... jihad" which would be extremely offensive.

Being from a former communist state though am not suprised that the traslation isn't 100%. I played BF2 SF and the entire russian dialogue system is done poorly. It's not that it's wrong, it's just that no one would say the things the way they say them in the game... it just smacks of a quickly done jump... like they got some random civilians to do the voiceover and not actual military personnel.

But still... its better its russian and not a caricature... Oh and "Enemy Boat Spotted" is just too f' classic

ever played desert combat for bf1942 arabian knight? Raz (and his brother) did the voices for us on that modification and they were both former iraqi's. They did an excellent job.

I dont know if it has been posted before but here it goes...

since I'm an Arab, and I'm quite sure there are few here as well...you might have noticed that there are some serious mistakes on MEC language!!

for example..

the USMC Support class: when he distirbutes the ammo he says Need Ammo?? Ammo here?? Get ammo here..

The MEC sats: (( ahtaaj ela thakheera )) meaning (( I need ammo ))!!!:laugh:

he distributes the ammo and he says he needs some ammo...

another grammer mistake when MEC send a command saying move to this postion, he says it in arabic move to there position (( not their I mean there )).

I have entered some empty servers and I crused arround and started to look at the signs at Strike at karkand.... some signs says chieckn factory and its duplicated everywhere...

and some were not that clear for me.. the arabic language writting correctly but each letter is not connected to the other there all seprated...

I will try to install arabic language on my PC and show you on this thread some live examples....

Theres one that the MEC team says. i dont know what its for, but i hear it all the time and it cracks me up, sounds like they say "Hey Young Fella"
