Little do the USMC suspect, but 'chicken' is actually a MEC code word for weapons of mass destruction. Shhhh, don't tell anyone!

Actually not, I'm from Iceland, I work on "US Intervention" and we got one Arab there who does voices and text for signs etc, I just copy/paste :p
      النصر لنا أيها العلوج

Maybe we are going to have a house in the middle of an alley with a big sign:

He posted the english version of the text below it.

I came to think of it, wouldn't it be nice to have more voices than just one in the mod? *hint*

I read once that the Arabic language is dependant on the dialect it is spoken in, as our alot of Asian languages.

Could it be a simple dialect difference?

            PEACE

OH YEAH OH YEAH!!! UAV loooooooooool

            okay USMC say UAV..

MEC says ( al taera bedoon tayar ) meaning the airplane is without pilot!!!

            classic! :)

it does sound bit diffrent fromo a place to another machstem....

                =tGA=Harry: it's ghair-momken... meaning ( Impossible )

for example when you request arrtilirery support or supplies the MEC commander says the above as a negitive.

but to be honest guys the way MEC speak is a proper arabic language...while in reality its Slang language

but it was a good idea to keep it as a proper Arabic language, coz slang would be diffrent depending on nationalities....

EA have always had problems with different languages in games, i remember back in the game Medal of honor Allied Assault WW2 game, there was some silly mistakes in the German spoken in the game, especially during some of the single player missions, i wonder who Ea\Dice take on to do these languages and where they were taught. Shame there are not any Chinese people around, i would love to hear know what the Chinese really say in the game, better its also totally wrong, lol

I don't know about you guys, but the way that the MEC lady who talks about the UAV speaks... ahhh... what a sexy voice.

Sounds to me like "jair in ta hayah, ah doon tai yaaa."

That's I need - a nice Egyptian girl who says "UAV bingo on fuel" right after I plaster her face.

LOL oh too much, loling here til it hurst.

Ever played a game not designed for an English-speaking audience that contains English? Or watched a movie that contained it? Ever been to Engrish.com?

Yeah. Everyone does it. We're no exception. They probably hired some first-year Arabic student to do the translations for them, they have better things to do than get a translation right. :)

forgive me, this is a part considered very important to me and to my arab nations.

if dice or EA did some mistakes on english langauge I am sure plenty of good poeple in this forum would go and comment on it.

know that this game is ditributed world wide..I'm a cool guy I dont really get offended by such mistakes after all arabic language is one of the hardest..even I couldnt master the proper grammer of it..while in english I know the grammer perfectly and I speak english better than my own mother lang....

some other low leveled brain arabs will take this personally and might start a roit coz of it lol...

ever played desert combat for bf1942 arabian knight? Raz (and his brother) did the voices for us on that modification and they were both former iraqi's. They did an excellent job.
