Some weapons such as the PKM will shoot thru the 'sheet metal' fencing.

aimbot or not just being able to 'see' where everyone is gives a really unfair advantage.

If so many people are hacking and I am not, how come I still get great scores?

I think it's alright, sometimes I suspect people, but I am never sure and can't ever prove it, so probably it isn't all that bad.

The coolest thing I think PB has done I think is to carry those bans over to ANY game running PB software.If BF2 had the same Admin tools AA does I have no doubt the caught cheater list would be MUCH bigger.

I have seen 3 definate cases of hacking. One aimbot, one spawn hack, and one that made the second (weapon he was using) sniper unlock have the fire rate of a PKM. (The sniper was within site, about 30 meters, on the ground) I saw the muzzle flashes from the sniper and would guess 3 plus shots were fired.
Now, to be fair, there were a lot of other cases of suspected hacks being used and several people who were inside objects they shouldnt have been in (buildings and rocks). I have just over 700 hours in now so I have to say that the hackers are here but thier number is probably around one per cent of the total active Battlefield 2 players. If you want to find some hackers a good place to start would be the top players on the rising star list in BFHQ. Lets get real, how in the heck does anyone get a kill to death ratio of over six hundred thousand? If you can tell me I would like to know. . . . . . . . .Red

Yes I do.

1. Such wallhacks and other ckins are easily detected in PB Screens.

2. A color aimbot is a simple thing, isn't to great at all. A color aimbot is far from a normal aimbot, it just aims at a color, that's all.

3. Who would ever want to play in this??? My god it looks terrible, no fun whatsoever.

There has been ton written here even, regarding cheating.
In fact I started a thread a while ago, similiar to this one.
In that thread alot of folks, said that it probally just lag. Or the guy was simply better. In fact there were a ton of excuses. And really when you can come up with 1,000 excuses for something, thats suspect in its own right.

I like your math on this subject and in fact theres times when i put a clip into someones chest that should bring them down and they kill me with one shot i asume was to the head amzes and bewilders me, either the AI is wacked or some cheat or theres some really good guys out there maybe its a combo of all 3

I just took a look at the Master Ban List which now has 1235 players on it and still not one aimbot. Mostly multihacks and video driver cheats.

i was MEC at south base on shaq, me and this other guy were in the 2 vodniks there when this guy in a cobra comes in and goes into a hover right in front of us, he was looking to line up a shot against the empty AA there when me and the other guy opened up on him, with 2 .50 cal ripping into him he didnt last long but then starts typing in about how this other guy is a cheater! he didnt realize i was also nailing him with the .50 and since he died so fast that the guy who got the kills MUST be a cheater

Actually, did you notice how amasingly crappy that guy was in the aimbot video? Jeez... he cheats and he STILL sucks that bad!

Someone posted a list of MSX registered users last night (the thread was quickly locked) and I had some fun checking names on the list against BF2stats trackers. 2 things amazed me. 1) that people would be stupid enough to sign up on that forum using their BF2 name and 2) how some with very obvious cheating recorded in their stats still manage to suck... HARD.

Still, there's fewer cheaters than some folks think. They're fairly uncommon and most of the time when you accuse someone of cheating, you're likely to set yourself up for embarisment.

its really hard to notice...i mean in cs if i suspect someone cheating..i usually go spec them to see for sure..but theres no real spec mode in bf2

Ok so lets say 1500 people do have access to the same hack. At which point it becomes a public hack. As soon as people start sending it around some one will post it and sooner or later PB will be banning for it ( I'm not saying PB is good but it does work half decient) Besides not that many people use hacks all the time. Theres no way 1500 people will have over 400 Hours of using hacks in one game. That would be incredible boring. So its not how many people have hacks its how many hours they put in destroying the game for other people. Lets say 1500 people have hacks and they each use it for 2 hours befor getting bored. Thats a total of 3000 hours of hacking more or less. Thats not really that much when it comes to gaming over any period of time for that many people. The only thing to worry about is the people making their own private hacks for them and maybe 2-3 other people that they can trust them with. Never be able to detect it and the hack could work for as long as the game is out. Person can toggle it on and off when they feel like it. But this makes up a very small percent of people. Those 1500 people don't want to have to keep downloading new hacks every time the last one got banned.

Admins also need to get comfy with the idea of regularly taking PB screenshots from highscoring or suspisious players. If more admins did this on a regular basis, there'd be fewer cheaters in total since all they have to do is send those screens into PB and *poof*, that cheater is gone from the game.

after youve paid for the hack you can send it to as many people as you like an it WILL WORK!
ive brought a couple of the hacks an sent them to my clan m8 inwhich we try em out on a locked server,
we does this every time a hack comes out just ot see if we can see any thing that stands out.
to see what we're lookin for in game play to say yes hes hackin kick/ban him or just follow around takin pics to send in to pb.
all the hacks that i buy i send off to pb after we've tested em so they can put a stop it.
the only thing i find at the moment is that the msx hacks are full an i mean full of add ware an virus's which is a good thing as it stops people from using them.
theres a few more sites out there that use pure hacks that you cant tell are being used.
dont worry i will not say the sites.
ps dont even bother pm me askin for info on the site or if i can send you the hacks.

Negatory, it depends on whom made the hack. The biggest hack maker I know requires all paid members to LOG IN to a webspace and then the jeets are active; the hack maker is smart... he doesn't even allow his files onto users pc's.
