Re: Medic weapon: G36 vs L85

i've played medic for well over 100 hours, and i have yet to see a single enemy health bar when they're spotted or under the UAV. neither have the other 5 people i play with. i defend a flag with 5 guys swarming, UAV overhead, i shoot/kill them, no health bar ever shows up...

It's not a health bar on the actual enemy, but a bigger red circle around the enemy's red dot on the radar. The closer to dead they are, the more red the outer circle is!

Oh Ya! When I learned that it was on as a medic. The bigger the red cirlce the less health they have. Attack those and you can have the all the combat medic badges if you don't already have them. The same with support. A big red circle while under the UAV means they are low on ammo, so they may have to reload to combat you:laugh:

              G36E. There is no debate.

I aim for the head, so 1 out of those 3 shots is going to be instant kill

They both are good if used in wise conditions. L85 for long range kinda like a sniper rifle and g36e for med to close because of the 3 shots to the torso usually takes out an enemy. But recently i've drifted away from medic altogether and traded my g36e for the g36c on spec ops lots more fun in my opinion. Plus you don't get whined at if you don't make it to someone in time to revive lol.

G36E is my choice. Even though the L85A1 can be very useful sometimes it never keeps up. I always turns out winning more battles with the G36E.

However I mostly prefer the AK101 because it is powerful, full auto and kinda accurate.

The M16 is really good to once you get used to it.

l85 is poor next to G36

G36E - short/med range, quite versatile. L85 - med range, difficult to handle at short range. Still not that much better than M16 and comparable to AK.

I have a thing for the L85, ever since I've survived several waves of enemies trying to take a flag at mashtuur (Haven't had that kinda luck with the G36E) Most of my shots were headshots, and the noise isn't as loud as a semi-auto sniper (though, less accuracy is definately noticable)

I haven't had horrible luck while using it in Close quarters combat, so, the L85 is the way I'd go.

The G36E, is a good weapon, but for some reason, I can't get the kills with it that I get with other weapons (even the M16 I have better luck with) I've seen other players own with it, and I'll leave it to them. I'm for the longer range combat =P (such as getting a headshot with L85 at a blackhawk crewmember)

best way to describe it is that G36E pwns, L85A1 sucks.

the only people who disagree would be those who prefer the "spray and pray" to the actually aim and shoot the guy method.
