Me is noticed that recently not many people uses da medic kit. Most people go for either assault or sniper or support. Even for those who do go out on the field as medics they only do it so they can heal themselves, i've had one medic who is 2 feet away from me while me is dead and still don't revive!! Also, you can notice that most people who are medics are usually below the rank of staff sgt, which means they is also noobs....:hmm:
So who else miss those medic whores before patch 1.2??
call me anytime into service i been trying to get expert heal but can never get enough injured persons to wait up for me to heal them, they always run away into certain death,,,,and then i get shot trying to catch up
I dont miss them because Id rather die once with a medic right there than have him revive me like 20 times and get 20 deaths....REVIVE IF THE COAST IS CLEAR!!
I try to help everyone that I can when I am the medic. Sometimes that leads to me getting my ass shot up, but I like to spread it out. I have always played on levels were there are tons of medics though so You just have to find the right server.
You said you picked up his kit and became a medic, so after he was revived, what class was he then?
He would have my old kit (unless there was another dead body nearby). So he probably wouldn't be a medic after the revive but at least he'd be alive. And occasionally I would find another kit nearby and grab it so he could have his kit back if he wanted it.
It's sort of a social call, I will be there. So far, played Medics for 22:30:44/62:37:38. Assault is15:21:01/62:37:38. I don't like Assault in retrospect. Spec Ops is 11:48:01/62:37:38, I enjoyed that eqaully much as I did Medics. In fact, I find some of the weapons of Spec Ops akin to that of Sniper. The scope zooms in good, and the range is long, more importantly, the recoil is less heavy.
i don't like playing medic much because whenever i do it seems i run into a tank lol
Whenever I see a tank close to me or not close to me, I will dodge unless I am anti-tank. If I happen to have an anti-tank squad mate with me, I will dodge without much fear. The grnades are quite weak against the tank unless the tank itself has benn hit before. But even with a 100% health tank, it takes 2 rockets to kill it. The trouble is, will you be having another good shot after your position is exposed?
They could fix the damm problem with the defibrilator reload, that makes you spam "Clear" "Clear" "Clear" "Clear" "Clear" "Clear" dozens of times before it actually reloads.
The bug is so annoying you have to revive someone, wait more than usual, so the defibrilator becomes ready for use again, otherwise you get the "Clear" "Clear" "Clear" "Clear" "Clear" "Clear" "Clear" bug
I completely agree with the OP, I've seen so many medics recently that just seem to like the guns and completely ignore dead teammates.. When I spent ~40 hours player medic, a dead teammate was top priority (Although, getting rid of whatever killed him in the first place does help)
You can bunny hop in front of someone spamming "I NEED A MEDIC HERE" and they will just completely ignore you.. It just makes you want to stick a bullet in their heads and use their kit yourself
Specially when wounded bodies are everywhere around a capturing flag. Don't forget, the more buddies around a capturing flag, the less time it takes to have the flag secured. So I will risk my lives to revive. Besides, who knows whom you are reviving, say another medics and more lives will be revived, including myself.
Personally I do not like the idea of reviving 5-6 people in 15 seconds. I know its a game but it is just too much of a stretch for me, not that I will not take advantage of it
And to the guy who was talking about the support guy blasting his friend and him when he knew he was coming around the corner; Blizzard has the whole "prone" thing wrong. When someone dropped down in BF:Vietnam their reticle went down slowly, in BF2 it zooms down super-fast. This is idiotic of course. When someone drops down their weapon should be flailing wildly. I think only if someone crouches should they get a quick accuracy bonus.
Medics my life, as someone stated before.. im not too great with the weapons, but dont get me wrong, 50% of the time im victorious in gun battles now that the L85 has been upped, but my main aspect while playing as a medic is ill revive anyone anywhere because 2v1 for instance is better odds.. basically ill revive you because I believe you have a better chance of killing the oppenant than me.. and who cares if i revive you and you die again, its not like each time you die your death count doesnt go up.. someone could revive you 50 times and you would still only have 1 death... wtf does it matter that the tank whore on the other team has 50 kills... hes not doing his team anygood focusing on killin the revived trust me!!! Medics rule !!
Hmmmmmmm......interesting thread. I personally never played as a medic coz i hated the gun. But then I unlocked the L85 and quite liked it. I only play medic on certain maps, usually city maps like karkand, sharqi or mashtuur
