I think that the bombers should drop grenades out of the sky so that way the bombers cant do what theyre supposed to and render them useless.. *sarcasim*. Seriously thats like nerfing the Tanks bullets because you hate it when a tank kills your sqaud.

This thing is so unbalanced its not even funny. It reminds me of precisely why i dont play the maps that have it.
Its ridiculous when your in a bandwagon of 2-3 jeeps, 2 APCs and 2 tanks and a single SU 30/34 bomb run takes out EVERYthing.
I finally went and stole it from the Chinese on daqing a minute ago and gave them a dose of their own medicine for a few minutes until i lagged and hit a smoke stack.
I really thnk they need to nerf this things bombs.
I'm not trying to be a jerk, but you really need to just stop playing this game. Just go right now, uninstall it, delete all references to it all together. That post is the least intelligent thing I ahve read in a while on here. Though you must think yourself to be very witty and genius, but you are only proving what everyone else is already thinking.

        A) That's only the case on that one map.

        B) The US gets two fighters on Oman. I would take two fighters over a fighter/bomber combo any day. Unless the US pilots are complete smacktards the bomber shouldn't last more than all of about 20 seconds in the sky.

See, every time I hear something like this I am laughing. Almost every SU-34 pilot Ive run into, that has managed to escape me, has a standard maneuver. Theres no "balance". These two planes being equal? Never, F35B will smoke Sus ass any time of the day. The reason it doesnt is simple. Su turns, pushes burners, you smoke after him with the burners. In tight turns, Su has a speed of 900, againts your 1400. If you realize now what happens, I get a cookie for you.

All you ever need to do againts a Su- set your throttle default to 800 KPH and chase that bomber from a little distance. Theres absolutely no way it can escape. It was hard when you had to rely on your missiles, so you had to chase it for 15-17 seconds until its afterburner ran out. Now, pheh. Just stay behind, wait for the first turnchange and fire off.

Ive met some FANTASTIC Su pilots, and I have had the honours to fly MiG escort for them, but there is no pilot in Su that can effectively engage an equal pilot in F35B, and yes, Im ignorantly stating a fact.

This semi-rant wasnt adressed againts you personally, as Ive seen a lot of people making Su into something it is not.

Fact is, Su is a target practice for the F35B. Even with a pilot who lets loose on teh afterburner, all it takes is to observe Sus maneuvers. They usually make an S into the skies and fly very high and thats it.

In most occasions, F35B can effectivley keep up with Su in turns without using the afterburners, how wicked is that? And its all truth!

Hey man, antiinfantry grenade shower isnt that bad at all. Its like a minirain of 30 grenades falling down the skies. That would be sweet. With the LGMs that your copilot uses, everything is covered anyway.

I know it was sarcasm, but really, imagine 30 grenade shower from the bombers cargo bay.... suhweet!

          BALANCE!

If I so much as hear this word I start laughing. If you guys would have what you wanted and "balance" the planes. Their cannon would be of 9mm caliber and bombs would be grenades. So that you can stay at the center of the field and wave at the incoming bomber.

Theres a reason convoys are not seen alot in BF2 when 500 pound bombs are above you...

My buddy and I took out a well-spaced column. He just kept firing laser missile after laser missile. Since they were so "well-spaced" (for us) he had time to reload his missile and hit the next target. Then I just bombed the hell out of the last one for some freebie points. This was in between being shot down by the J-10 so it's not like we were whoring or anything

Well, i think that an arrowhead formation works better than the "column" (AKA point congo)
                  point congo:

USMC has the f15 in some maps, which is almost same thing. I agree, the SU is very powerful with those 6 bombs that's it carries, but it's also slower than the other jets, and it's an easy target for the Essex. I've destroyed so many of them on Oman.

Seems like a good formation but it still has its weaknesses. Two to three passes (with a co-pilot and no reloading) will take out the formation and it's difficult to get people organized like that.

yea, its difficult to organize, but it does have several advantages, the main one being that it will take more than one run to take it out. Also placing linebakers on the "wing tips" of the formation make it a much tougher nut to crack.

You know, you can always place yourself behind a tank or an APC at an akward angle, so one pass wont take you down. A good bomber will place himself behind you so he will make maximum damage. Dont let that happen. Simply try to follow a player with as scrambled formation as possible.

"Play off other players", and thats 50% teamwork there.

You know what's the biggest BS with the new patch? Getting shot down by a bomber while you're piloting a fighter.

So you are saying a bomber should not be able to shoot down a fighter?
