I am still against this game being released this early, but one screenshot really makes me want to try it, lol.



I can just imagine walking beside one of those things. IF Dice pulls it off the game could be very cool.

Wow, if this game plays like Tribes I am going to be instantly hooked. I miss Tribes II. It likes like that may be a jet pack on his back. If it is that would be so cool.

i might end up getting this but i dont see why its so soon bf2 is just at a year its not long enough i still love bf2 and i probably wont even run this i only got 512MB RAM but if i get more my next computer game is between this and ET:quake wars

I wouldn't mind lasers if they were realistic. I.e. like the phasers in Star Trek. I don't like the laser blasters in Star Wars that much.

I remember less then a year ago looking at BF2's first screenies. MY GOD they were awesume.
While BF2 is awesume in itself, the early screenshots looked alot better then what we have now.
In fact, early screenshots showed us:
Guys fast ropin' down from blackhawks.
Guys using laser targeting for aircraft.
Missle payloads on Blackhawks.
Cars and other vehicles that didnt even make the game.
And early videos showed us the same things, as well as car alarms/horns going off on cars as they got hit, etc. as well as things i cant even think of, however some of you diehards could probally add to this list.
Not being a downer here, just saying that BFV, BF2 early shots and videos showed us things that the game ended not even being/having.

I don't understand why every future sci-fi type game has to have a rectangular log as one of the guns. Who would honestly design a hand held gun like that?

Have the guns mounted on like sunglasses, one chamber on both sides of your head. In the future, it could shoot big time,.....low noise and low to no shutter from the firing. Besides.......in the future ammo will be electronically fire right?

Hell, make it mental telepothy fighting. lol I can see battlefield 4 comming out after all this sci fi stuff..


BF4 Nuclear Summer.
Its 2054 and all of the world superpowers have pulled out from the UN. Chaos insues and allies formed. American, Mexicans, Canadians form a side to protect themselves against European, Russian and middle east forces. The world will end, for one side. But who will use the tactical nuclear weapons to do it?
Play Long Range bomber missions,
Escort the President missions,
Naval battles to protect the island of cuba,
Panama Canal protection missions.
and, finally, a well thought out, map of all maps, Nuclear Summer mission play mode, where the winning team at the half way point, is awarded a nuclear missle attack to use at their disposal. Be warned however, The team using the nuke, if they TK one of their own, they will be killed, and will not be able to return (spawn) to the server until the round is over.
