Rub, the kills you get with arty do go towards your kit kills. That is how I got some of my Basic kit Badges. :)

I didn't know this. The reason I stated the idea above was because if you just sit w/o killing anyone w/ your gun, you'll end the round w/ 0 kills and 0 deaths. This is why I thought it didn't go towards you're kit. However, I am still correct when I say you don't get any Combat Points w/ arty kills.

You get points from supply drops and flag captures.
