Seriously though, for the dads with kids under 15 who play BF2, WTF are you doing to them? Its not admirable that they're zoning out playing online, take em to a park, for fishing with them, buy em a book or something. Encouraging them to play BF2 and revelling in your kids performance is nothing to be proud about.

battlefield is one of those game that takes intelligence and intuition. Education level actually increases your skill because you know when to do what.

95% of the time - I am here with him
we play with a good clan
the game teaches dynamic realtime analysis
and he has learned to respond to his many failures (in game) as
well
he is homeschooled, and must complete significant work each day
4.0 GPA
and goes to HS scince classed
and does about an hour of physical exercise each day as well
also very active in church and other social events as well
and reads at least an hour of novels daily
thanks for you comments - but we do monitor his gaming activity
now - if I could only play as well as he does
he is near to Major and has nearly 500 golds
and has been avg about 3-4 pts per minute lately

Well....BF 2 does make you use that noodle. There are situations where a decision can be the difference between you killing an enemy, or the other way around (more so in an infantry situation; gun v. gun). It's about outsmarting the enemy, which does require problem solving and basic understanding of a situation (while talking about this, it amazes me how stupid people can be in this game...it's not rocket science).
