You no what I couldn't agree with you anymore I love your boycott thinking. I hate fantasy type gamplay I love the realism of the weapons and team play.

BF1942, BFV, BF2, BFmodern combat. No one Boycotted any of those games, individually. But we all can boycott all we want. Their will be someone who will buy a game. For example people who enjoy sci fi stuff, like myself. I enjoy modern and SciFi. Their will always be a buyer for every type of game. EA or any gaming company is out to entertain us, not mostly into the money. Although they need it to stay in Business. Also regarding Ghost Recon. The story lines were a decade of its time. Who knew soldiers will dress like in Ghost Recon imagined 10 years earlier? Now this new game.."Advance Warfighter". Looks awesome. Have it my way end of the month. Maybe EA, Dice will do the same. A game for everyone.

i remember reading somewhere that bf2 began production when bf1942 was in v1.3. the first screenshot was released some time in late 2004 and about 9 months later it was released. bf2142 is far from being released with the estimated release date anywhere between september and december (without delays), which is 7-9 months. from the time we saw the first screenshot/movie of bf2, till the time it was released, is around the same amount of time from when we saw the first movie of bf2142 until its proposed released.
