I was thinking that too until I read they were working on it since the release of BF2. Also theres no aliens , so it will be a different game. Theres suppose to be a ton of gadgets in it that could prove interesting.

THe game gets old after 9 months of playing it. I have something like 200 hours on the game and its getting boring.
How bout considering the fact that BF 1942 stayed alive for almost three years, where BF2 is dead after 1 year. They are not even giving a chance for the mods to come out!!!!!! I wanted to plaay FH2 so badly but there will be no player support because everyone will flock to the flying saucers. (i hope this will not be the case)
Ehh, im a bit iffy on this. I have never really been much on the futuristic games like that. And im really worried about that cloak thing for the sniper or what not. Thats gonna be impossible and youll never see him. Great if your the sniper, not if your trying to find him. Unless it only lasts for a couple seconds or something.
also, if its not star wars than sci fi its gay. its got to be realistic and current or recent history, or its not battlefield.
i dont want the battlefield history being tarnished by some fruity mech game played by 11 year olds who like those gay gundams and everything.
and 100 years in the future mechs wouldnt exist, it would be tanks without crews, aircraft without crews and strange types of cruise missiles and mines that would be war, not some fruity walking thing straight out of a gay xbox game.

u don't know what you are talking about. Just look at what happen when bf:v came out. Did everyone just leave bf 42?....no. More people played bf 42 than bf:v.
I guess you just forgot all about bf:v coming out....b/c it was not released 3 years after the first.
Also most mods should be out by the time this game is released.
Ill be sticking to BF2. I dont want to play futuristic crap. I wont be playing any "futuristic" games until the "futuristic things" become reality. And judging by what this game looks like, it wont ever be close to reality.
I still play BF42 and the Forgotten Hope and Desert Combat mods actively, in fact I just got done playing and there are still many mnay servers, BF42 is long from dead. It is still a very popular game for alot of people, including me, and you can bet that when this "Expansion" for Bf2 comes out(Ill buy it)but thats not the point, Ill go back to play Bf42 and forgotten Hope
