How is it unbalanced? I've easily taken down jets with AA in the new Euro maps. If you're determined to take em out, they don't stand a chance.

Everytime i got on, i dont have time to bomb, either because im getting chased by another jet, which is fun.

LOL this is so typical of BF2

If your getting owned by Jets it's your own fault especially on the Quarry map. Two well positioned Mobile AA both set away from the main convoy will deal with that.

Don't want to man the Mobile and neither does anyone else on your team, so your going to do two things:-

1) Die a lot
2) Whine on a forum somewhere

If your getting owned by Jets it's your own fault especially on the Quarry map. Two well positioned Mobile AA both set away from the main convoy will deal with that.

Don't want to man the Mobile and neither does anyone else on your team, so your going to do two things:-

The biggest and most unresolved problem is the folks flying the jets have figured out that they can actually gun you down before your AA can actually lock on them. Maybe this is a real-life situation, but in the game it has effectivly ruined any chance of defending a base with AA. One pilot simply takes the role of taking out the AA and the rest bomb the hell out of the base. If you're on a AA launcher, you can clearly see that you can't lock onto the aircraft until after they start opening up on you with their machine gun. If a pilot knows exactly where the AA is he just hits the after-burners, and B-Lines his jet strait at you, then opens up. 100% of the time, you will get hosed before you can actually lock and fire a single missile. If this was intentional on Dice's part, then I can't see why AA is on the maps in the 1st place.

Well many times the pilot don't know where the AA is so i'm not agree with you with that.
Also there is so many target so you can't see if it is a AA or a tank you are hitting

Not to mention if your mobile AA, YOU CAN CHANGE YOUR POSITION. There is no way a pilot can always know where mobile AA is. I have also taken out a jet even when he's targeted me, I don't wait for the lock on tone, I just start firing with everything I got and the guy goes down. (People apparently completely ignored my first post, you don't have to have a constant lock on tone with mobile AA) I swear, people just want to find a reason to complain.

Mobile AA With an ENGR near by = lots of dead pilots. You just need to stay back from the main convoy. Also if you don't have good pilots on your team then you will lose.

The AA shows up on your radar, lol. If you don't know where it is as a jet pilot, you need to let somebody who knows wtf they're doing use the jet.

What you want DICE to remove the jets? So all you wanna be tank noobs can roll past all the flags and win? Why not take out the tanks too so you guys can take each fly by foot...oh no wait youll have guns too. I guess they will have to take those out because someone might get shot.

no, what they want is maps with bombers to also have fighters. A good pilot on quarry just runs a loop bombing/reloading over and over again. If he gets shot down, it is his own fault.

The map has one fighter and one bomber in each side. Isnt that good enough? A good piolet can do alot of damage on the ground with a single fighter.

Are you talking about the HUD display showing you targets on the ground? I think I just said the mobile AA is just that, it's MOBILE. The pilot can only know or memorize where stationary AA is at any given time, mobile AA requires some hunting before the HUD display shows the bomber where you are. You're in mobile AA and bombers keep getting you? Try this, MOVE YOUR ASS TO ANOTHER POSITION!

well ak47 warlord, it was difficult comprehending your quasi english, but i seem to get the impression that you know everything about EF without playing it simply from reading other whiner's complaints.....

1. taraba quarry sucks. unless youre the one flying the bomber. everyone gets bombed to hell on that map, and it is just as bad as zatar wetlands and daqing oilfields, the 2 other horrendous vehicle maps.

2. smokescreen rocks. this is what my first smokescreen was, i was squad leader of number 1 squad, got gold medal and 47 points:

number of times some planewhore tries to bomb me: 30

number of times successful:0

number of times helicopter whores try to blow up my tank: 7

number of helicopters blown to hell by me or companion tanks: 7

smokescreen proves to me that a map with tons of tanks, planes and helicopters can totally OWN karkand and the rest of the camping, claymore infested urban maps.

it seems to make no sense, but on taraba the planes always kill you, on smokescreen they always miss.
