Mashtuur, found an awesome spot on Sharqi, and Zatar. Shongua would be awesome for sniping if it was as sunny as Zatar, and less fog. All of you guys saying "Wake, for sure" are making me sad, knowing how whenever I join a server that's playing wake island, i get booted for modified content. Looks like i'm gonna have to reinstall the entire game, including the patches. Urgh.
Strike at Karkand, it always seems to dissolve into a sniper battle at the bridge and i love it, also Sharqi, Wake and Mashtuur City are great for sniping
1. Sharqi! I rule that map.
2. Mashtuur-can get long quality kills despite the fog
3. Oman-Found my good spots to snipe from.
4. Karkand-same here
5. Dragon Valley/Fu She Pass also although better getting into armor
Ones I've just recently had better success on:
1. KUBRA DAM-found a SWEET spot to hide and fire..all the better!
2. Daqing oilfield
3. Zatar Wetlands-believe it or not
4. Wake/Ghosttown
It doesn't matter - snipers are only a nuisance most rounds. They don't cap flags, repair, heal, blow up assets, or take out armor or air. If a sniper is a good enough shot or has a good enough hiding place to be more than a nuisance then it is usually pretty easy to hunt him down.
A team with a lot of snipers is a team that will lose.

How about Snipers Defending Flags, Giving Long range Support Fire to people/squads capping flags, Blocking Choke points with Claymores and Precision Fire, Spotting of Enemy Movement, Spotting of Enemy Air Units, killing Enemy Commanders, providing Secured Spawnpoints as a Squadleader, etc.
Noobs like you dont even get close to a good Sniper, so keep dreaming.

I love sniping in all of the Special Forces maps. Of course, working with someone who has a grappling hook allows for so many more places to snipe from....
